the snark and wit humor in this episode is fucking fantastic. i really wish people would pay attention to the dialogue in this show, because the humor is mostly in that, along with the slapstick elements and homages they do that recognize similar humor techniques done in older cartoons (aka DOES THIS LOOK SURE TO YOU face)
people who think this show is about a child like sponge with an annoying voice having fun cutesy adventures for children really need to rewatch the show. it started out that way with the first few episodes, but the humor really started after season 1 and it grew it’s own amazing flavor.
edit: also, the red mist is a definite hoax. they used episode cut-outs in it. i haven’t seen it but i saw bits and pieces of the video here and there, including the same pieces they inserted into the video from episode screencaps. talk about relief.
